22. Forgiveness from Allāh
أَستَغفِرُ اللهَ الَّذِي لا إلَه إلَّا هُوَ الحَيَّ القَيُّومَ وأَتُوبُ إلَيه

I seek forgiveness from Allāh, none has the right to be worshipped except Him, the Living, the Eternal and I repent to Him.
Astaghfiru Allāh al-ladhi la ilaha illa huwa al-hayy al-qayyum wa atubu ilayh.
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ "مَنْ قَالَ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَىُّ الْقَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ غُفِرَ لَهُ وَإِنْ كَانَ فَرَّ مِنَ الزَّحْفِ"
Zaid the mawla of the Messenger of Allah said: "I heard my father say on the authority of my grandfather that he heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Whoever says: [this dua], will be forgiven even if he deserted his army (in Jihad)."
