In the name of Allah, the Lord of Mercy, the Giver of Mercy! Alif Lam Mim. This is the Scripture in which there is no doubt, containing guidance for those who are mindful of God, who believe in the unseen, keep up the prayer, and give out of what We have provided for them; those who believe in the revelation sent down to you [Muhammad], and in what was sent before you, those who have firm faith in the Hereafter. Such people are following their Lord’s guidance and it is they who will prosper. (Quran, 2:1-5)

(Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Raheem) Alif Lam Mim. (1) Dhālika al-kitābu lā rayba fīhi; hudan lilmuttaqīn. (2) Al-Ladhīna yu'minūna bialghaybi wayuqīmūna al-ṣalāh wa mimma razaqnāhum yunfiqūn. (3) Wal-Ladhīna yu'minūna bimā unzila ilayka wa mā unzila min qablika wa bial-ākhirati hum yūqinūn. (4) Ūlā'ika 'alā hudan min rabbihim; wa ūlā'ika humul-mufliḥūn. (5)

Ibn Mas’ud reported that the Messenger of Allah said: “Whoever recites ten verses from Surah Al-Baqarah in the early morning, satan will not get near him until evening approaches; and if it is read when the evening has entered, satan will not get near him until he rises up in the morning. He will (also) see nothing he dislikes in his family and his wealth.”
