In the name of Allāh, the Most Gracious; the Most Merciful. Alif Lam Mim. This is the Book in which there is no doubt, in it is guidance for those who fear (Allāh). Who believe in the unseen, establish the ritual prayer, and spend out of what We have given them. And who believe in that which is sent down to you, and that which was sent down before you, and have certain faith in the Hereafter. They are on true guidance from their Lord, and it is they who are successful. (Quran, 2:1-5)

Ibn Mas’ud (ra) reported that the Messenger of Allah (sas) said: “Whoever recites ten verses from Surah Al-Baqarah in the early morning, satan will not get near him until evening approaches; and if it is read when the evening has entered, satan will not get near him until he rises up in the morning. He will (also) see nothing he dislikes in his family and his wealth.”
